Mark J. Gordon
Mr. Gordon is a Los Angeles based cinematographer
specializing in people and shooting motion pictures, commercials, and
music videos. Gordon’s feature film work includes "Hit
Me" (official selection Toronto Film Festival) directed by
Steven Shainberg (Secretary). The noir thriller stars Elias Koteas,
William H. Macy, Laure Marzac, and Phillip Baker Hall. Gordon and
Shainberg also collaborated on “Mr.
Viril” starring Angelina Jolie. Gordon lensed "Fall Time" (official selection Sundance Film Festival) starring Mickey Rourke, Stephen Baldwin, Sheryl Lee, and David Arquette. The "Best Cinematography" award at the
Atlanta Film Festival was given to Gordon for his work on the short film "In
the Name of the Father" which also won the "Gold
Hugo" at the Chicago Film Festival and represented the United States
in international competition winning the Cine "Golden Eagle." Mr. Gordon’s Commercial work includes Chanel
(Men Are Animals), Miller
Lite (I’m So Thirsty) and Road
Runner High
Speed Modems (I Can’t Take It Anymore). Music Videos include Strike
Me Pink (Deborah Harry), West Side Story (Yo-Yo), and Special
